George Fowlie Merson was founder of the Merson Sutures company which became Ethicon Ltd., whose Directors still meet annually to honour his memory, linked with that of his son, Robert Burnett Merson. I would like to let my fellow Directors see the images when I propose the toast to George Merson's Memory at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh on Friday 4th May 2018 - so this is an urgent request, for which I sincerely apologise. - Graeme Crawford.
